Dyce is a suburb of Aberdeen, around six miles north-west of the city centre, on the River Don.
Dyce has its own shopping centre which houses a major supermarket and chemist and a number of smaller stores. Dyce Academy, the local secondary school, has about 500 pupils. There is also a primary school.
Aberdeen City Centre can be reached easily by road or by train. There are also rail links north towards Inverness. Dyce lies adjacent to Aberdeen airport with regular flights to UK and European destinations.
The Burnside development is to the south east of Dyce centre, close to the main road links to Aberdeen and within walking distance of the rail station and bus links.
