Hattrick of wins for Chapelpark Site Manager!

7th Jul, 2023

This month we proudly announce that Fraser Stephen and the team at Chapelpark, Oldmeldrum, have been awarded the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality award. This marks Fraser’s second Pride in the Job award at Chapelpark, adding to his success at completed development Knockhall, Newburgh.

Winners of the Pride in the Job Awards have been under site inspections and meticulous scoring and verification since July last year and covers England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Every site manager managing a site registered for NHBC Buildmark is automatically entered, competing against each other at a regional level to win Quality Awards, Seals of Excellence and the overall Regional Awards in their categories.

Pride in the Job means a lot to the industry as it has driven up the quality of new build houses and homeowner satisfaction.

The competition raises standards in house building and inspires site managers and their teams to give just that little bit more, either to win their first award, get to the next level or simply continue a winning streak.

Fraser has continued to work hard since his introduction to the company in 2005 and his recent awards show the commitment and focus he has shown over the last 18 years, starting as an apprentice and now leading a site team as manager.

Commenting on his award, Fraser spoke to Scotia’s marketing team: “It’s a real honour to receive a Pride in the Job Award for the third year running. None of this would have been possible without the support I have around me.

“Huge thanks to Sam Aiken my Assistant Site Manager, he deserves huge praise for his efforts over the last year.

“The support from my Construction Managers Alan Duguid and Les Crawford who have helped create a good team of tradesmen and ensured we have stuck together while improving each year.

“I would like to thank Allan Currie whose knowledge of house building and attention to detail is second to none.

“And also the contractors who have been on site since day one, I couldn’t have asked for better people, all buying into the same goals. Your support does not go unnoticed.”
