TRADES AWARDS 2023

Scotia have been involved with the Trades Awards for several years now, through sponsorship, making applications and providing judging support, so we were delighted with the opportunity to become the main sponsor. It has been great to see the Trades Awards grow year on year and Scotia, with the help of our co-sponsor WM Donald, are keen to continue the legacy of previous sponsors to makes this years awards even more successful.

The construction industry is full of very hard working and humble people, so the Trades Awards is a unique and fantastic opportunity to recognise them, whether it’s an apprentice or a tradesperson, a supplier or a subcontractor, an individual or a business. We truly believe that we need to shout more about the amazing talent we have in the industry in the North East of Scotland, to provide credit where credit is due and to encourage our up and coming colleagues by giving them something to aspire to.

The application process has been simplified this year to encourage more applicants to come forward. Our hope is that more and more people make the time to apply, either for themselves or to nominate a colleague/business, to promote a real ‘feel-good’ atmosphere within the industry.
