Scotia Homes is delighted to announce the opening of their stylish showhome and marketing suite for their new Chapelpark development in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Both are now available to view by private appointment.

As part of the campaign to spread the word about our Chapelpark development in Oldmeldrum, the team at Scotia Homes enlisted the help of pupils at Meldrum School to tell us what they love most about their lovely Aberdeenshire town. After all, they are the local experts!

Meldrum School participated in Scotia Homes’ competition to have two P6 pupils tell the radio what they love most about Oldmeldrum on Northsound. The P6 class were tasked with writing a short essay on their favourite things to do and see, where they were shortlisted to appear on camera to discuss their essays and what the community has to offer.

We were overwhelmed by the quality of the essays and we’re sure you’ll all agree they did a great job of telling their stories in the short video below. It’s safe to say you will want to visit ‘The Icer’ after you watch it!

After much consideration, two superb winners were chosen - Seth and Olivia - to take part in the radio advert for Chapelpark. They received a V.I.P invite to the Northsound Studio in Aberdeen to record their stories and were delighted to receive a private ‘behind the scenes’ tour!

From all at Scotia Homes, big congratulations to Seth and Olivia. Keep a listen out on Northsound 1 over the next few months to hear their celebrity debuts!

Scotia Homes also got Meldrum School’s P4 class involved where the 7-8 year olds produced some fantastic drawings on their love for their village. The class got creative to showcase Aberdeenshire in all its colourful glory. From parks to mountains, after-school activities to ice cream shops, the children gave a great insight from the eyes of Oldmeldrum’s locals.
