Scotia Site Managers named as some of the best in Scotland.
Site Managers from Tarves and Aviemore have been recognised by NHBC at the prestigious Pride in the Job Awards 2024 which took place at The Hilton, Glasgow earlier this month.
NHBC - National House Building Council - is the UK's leading provider of warranty and insurance for new homes, raising standards and protecting homeowners.
Fraser Stephen and Norman Bruce, Site Managers at Willowburn Tarves and Dalfaber Aviemore - respectively, won the Quality Award at the most highly regarded competition in the house building industry.
Scotia's Managing Director Richard Begbie, spoke of the team's success: "What a proud moment for the team at the NHBC Pride in the Job awards in Glasgow on Friday. Seeing Norman Bruce and Fraser Stephen receive a quality Award for Dalfaber, Aviemore, and Willowburn, Tarves, is testament to the dedication and excellence of everyone involved.
"A special thank you to all our site trades and contractors whose hard work and attention to detail made this achievement possible. Well done all."
To sell homes covered by Buildmark, NHBC's registered builders and developers must comply with the requirements set out in the NHBC Standards.
The NHBC Standards define the technical requirements and performance standards for the design and construction of new homes to be covered by Buildmark and provide guidance on how these can be achieved. Through the application of NHBC Standards homeowners should benefit from a new home build process that is compliant with the relevant building and fire-safety regulations and which incorporates leading practices in the construction industry.
