Scotia Homes joins Northsound 1’s Mission Christmas 2025 appeal

14th Nov, 2025

Scotia Homes is proud to once again support Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas campaign, helping make sure children across Aberdeen and the North East wake up to a gift on Christmas morning. Run in partnership with Northsound 1, Mission Christmas is the region’s biggest festive toy appeal, supporting thousands of local children who might otherwise receive nothing on the big day.

This year, Scotia Homes will be hosting a Mission Christmas drop-off point at our new showhome at Park View in Kintore. The showhome is open Thursday to Monday, 10.30am–5pm, giving plenty of opportunity for people to stop by with a donation.

Mission Christmas supports children and young people who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. Working with local organisations, schools, social workers and community groups, Cash for Kids ensures gifts reach families who need them most across Aberdeen and the North East. In recent years, the appeal has provided presents for thousands of local children, with demand continuing to rise as the cost of living impacts more households.

We are inviting customers, residents and the wider community to donate new, unwrapped gifts suitable for children and teenagers up to 18. Popular ideas include toys, books, games, arts and crafts, warm clothing and accessories, toiletries sets and age-appropriate tech or vouchers for older children. Every single gift – big or small – helps bring a little excitement, dignity and joy to Christmas morning for a local child.

If you’re visiting the Park View showhome to explore a new home, dropping in to see friends nearby or passing through Kintore, we would love you to consider bringing an extra gift along for the Mission Christmas box. Together with Northsound 1 and Cash for Kids, we can make a real difference for families in our communities this festive season.
